Supporting programs
that promote Inclusion
and build Community!
The Squatch Open is more than a golf tournament—it is a tribute to Stephen R. Roop, a man of honor, courage, and boundless generosity.
Steve’s life was defined by his love for his daughter, Sherri, and his relentless advocacy to ensure she had every opportunity to learn, grow, and be included.
As a father, he fought tirelessly to break down barriers, navigating a system that often overlooked those with differing abilities. His determination and love made a lasting impact, not only on Sherri but on the entire community.
His fight for accessibility and inclusion paved the way for so many. Whether it was advocating for better programs, ensuring his daughter had the same opportunities as her peers, or supporting others in similar situations, Steve’s efforts changed lives.
His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.
The Squatch Open is our way of honoring that legacy, bringing people together to celebrate community, perseverance, and the power of inclusion.
By joining us for The Squatch Open, you are not just playing a round of golf—you are becoming part of something bigger.
You are standing for inclusion.
You are supporting families and individuals who face challenges every day.
You are carrying forward Steve’s legacy of love, advocacy, and perseverance.
Together, we can make a difference—one swing at a time.
